so many

So many things (good and bad) are happening to so many people lately. Tumultuous world! We are all tossed about like socks in a dryer, hoping not to lose our mates.

(and that's not necessarily a literal mate, either.)

My hair smells like campfire and I'm not sure why.

Dan leaves tomorrow for 5 days to go to a conference in Arizona. My insides are sadder than I think they should be.

I am scattered in a thousand different places!

    five days! that's nothing, he'll be back before you know it (but no, i know what you mean too). what is his conference for?

    The software they use at the writing center. He's their official computer nerd. I mean the 'tech guy.'
